Ladoomail is a young business with a commitment to the future. Where possible and practical, we have made deliberate choices to ensure our practices are sustainable. Where there is work to do, we are committed to finding better alternative solutions.

The Ladoomail Gift Box — our rigid burgundy box with gold foil lettering — is made with FSC-certified board. The card insert, our gift cards, and our menu card are recyclable. The Gift Box is 100% recyclable.

Our Celebration Favour packaging is not currently fully recyclable — the clear box that houses each favour is not recyclable, though the swing tag is. We are aware of this and are actively reviewing alternatives that meet the same standard of presentation. We will update this page when that changes.

Our Gift Baskets are made from wicker, are built to last, and entirely reusable. Many of our customers repurpose them for storage, display, and decoration long after the occasion has passed.

Every Ladoomail Gift Box, Celebration Favour, and Gift Basket is made to order. Nothing is produced in advance and held in a warehouse or retail counter. Nothing sits unsold. Every piece of mithai is crafted by hand in small batches specifically for the occasion it was ordered for. This means no overproduction, no surplus stock, and no waste built into our operation by design.

The mailer bag in which every order travels is padded with paper mesh rather than plastic bubble wrap, and is fully recyclable. Our consignment orders are shipped in double-walled cardboard boxes which are also fully recyclable.
